On 14 July 2015, Alkarama and Al Wissam Humanitarian Assembly sent a communication to the United Nations Committee of Enforced Disappearances (CED) regarding the disappearance of an Iraqi worker, Omar Saadoun Nayef Al Saab, following his abduction by government forces in Baghdad in June 2014.

On 20 July 2015, Alkarama sent an urgent appeal to the United Nations Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances (WGEID) regarding the case of Mahmoud Tawfik Abdalaal, a 55-year-old former parliamentarian of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) – the political wing of the Muslim Brotherhood – disappeared since his arrest on 6 June 2015.

On 7 July 2015, Alkarama sent a communication to the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention (WGAD) regarding the case of Mohammed Mahdi Saleh Suleiman, a Palestinian teenager arrested on 15 March 2013 for "throwing stones" and arbitrarily detained pending trial to this day.

On 14 July 2015, Alkarama and Al Wissam Humanitarian Assembly submitted an urgent action to the United Nations Committee on Enforced Disappearances (CED) regarding the case of Yahya and Moussa Al Jabouri, two brothers who disappeared following their abduction by government forces in July 2014.

On 17 and 18 July 2015, members of the Syrian Centre for Media and Freedom of Expression (SCM) Hussein Gharir and Hani Al Zitani were freed from Hama Prison, after three years spent behind bars, following numerous calls by Alkarama and numerous other organisations, as well as various UN instances.

On 15 July 2015, Alkarama informed the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the promotion and protection of the right to freedom of opinion and expression (SR FRDX) of the expulsion, by the Egyptian authorities, of a 22-year-old French student, Fanny Ohier.

During its 29th session on 26 June 2015, the United Nations Human Rights Council (HRC) adopted the outcome of Kuwait's Universal Periodic Review (UPR) – a process aimed at assessing the human rights record of each UN Member State every four years – for which Alkarama had submitted a shadow report in June 2014.

On 14 July 2014, Alkarama, in cooperation with Al Wissam Humanitarian Assembly, sent an urgent action to the United Nations Committee on Enforced Disappearances (CED) regarding the case of Khamis Al Ghurery, a 37-year-old Iraqi citizen who disappeared following his arrest by military officers in June 2014.
