On 10 November 2015, Alkarama sent an urgent appeal to the Special Rapporteur on Torture (SRT) to inform him of the recent deterioration of Abderrahim Abourkha's health following the torture and ill-treatment he was subjected to during his detention.

On 13 November 2015, Alkarama sent a communication to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on torture and other cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment (SRT) regarding the case of school bus driver Mohamed Hassan Ali Ibrahim Ali. The victim was arrested in September 2013 and taken to the Criminal Investigation Centre of Manama, where he was severely tortured and forced to make confessions. These confessions were later used to justify the charges brought against him.
