Egypt: 2 more arrested in Suez case

Alkarama has received new information regarding the case of 33 individuals arrested in Suez on 17 August 2009 accused of belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood, a banned group under the State of Emergency Law of 1958.

A reliable source indicated that a further two arrests took place on 18 August 2009:

Mohammad Abdullah Ahmed Adam, 50, works as a freelancer and currently resides in Faisal, Suez.

Al-Husseini Mahmoud Abu Al-Anein, 51, is the Director of the Development and Agricultural Credit Bank in Suez and currently resides in Ataqa, Suez.

This puts the total to 35 individuals recently arrested in Suez.
