Alkarama Human Rights launched its annual report on the state of human rights in the Arab world in two languages (Arabic and English).

The expert on the human rights situation in Sudan, Radhouane Nouicer, called to urgently address the accountability of the security forces to the population within a framework of democratic civilian oversight, the rule of law and respect for human rights.

Alkarama recently submitted a list of 22 issues to the UN Committee against Torture for its experts to raise with the Egyptian authorities for the next consideration of Egypt's sixth periodic report.
